Russia is a wide country with a ancient history and of course a multi cultural land.
We know Russian literature, Russian Art and Russian music and Opera.
The Christianity with its church music, of which the piano and the organ are the basis, has a special place in the religious culture of the Russian Orthodox Christians.
Of course, the role of Judaism with its own cultural richness in Russian culture should not be overlooked. Ever since the recitation of the Torah and the Holy Scrolls began in the tabernacle of worship. Music has a high place in biblical culture. We know Asaph, who was the leader of the choir of the house of God in Jerusalem.
And King David was a musician, and he had a very beautiful voice, and his songs were in the Psalms that he composed and sang with music. Sometimes He was playing the musical instrument herself. The religious songs of the Jews reflected their historical sorrows, but at the same time, It promised the idea of a future full of salvation and joy, which will be realized with the coming of Christ. This idea continued in Christianity as well. Songs of praise to God and Jesus Christ and times of eternal joy were played on the piano and organ. Later, the piano was removed from the church and used for non-religious songs.
There are many pianists in the world today who play the piano. Like Timofey, a Russian pianist from Moscow. I interviewed him in the form of correspondence. He is polite and artist also a lover of his love... He reminds me of Alexander Pushkin. He was poet, lover and full of beautiful feelings.

- What is your artistic specialize?
Pianist.
- When and how did you become interested in this field of art? Decided to study music at the age of 5.
- Who was your motivator?
My father took me to the concert of Professor Lev Shugom, and after the concert he asked me if I wanted to study music and I replied that I want. This became the motivation for further study of music.
- What was your parent’s reaction?
My parents were very surprised that I want to make music at such an early age. But I made up my mind.
- when started you such as a professional artist?
At the age of I already played at the first concert in my life.
- Are you thankful and happy because of your activities as an artist?
I am grateful to fate for becoming a musician.
- How you see the view?
I write music in the style of intellectual minimalism. I think that it’s music in the future
when there is harmony and its power.
- Can you become one part of the artistic movement for motivation in youth or new generation in your country and so than?
Of course, because I understand that I have to transfer my knowledge to others and share it. As a teacher, I founded my piano class in Moscow, and of course I give concerts wherever I am invited.
