I am always ready to pass on my skills and experience to future generations, regardless of their ethnicity, whether they are Armenians or foreigners, it does not matter to me.

Interview
Saro Danielian, Armenian Musician

By Azad Karimi

I recommend my readers to listen the Saros’ playing Duduk here:

It is a happy rhythm, auspicious or Shayane –Shadyane*

I used the Kurdish pronounce of this phrase.

In this cultures (Armenian-Kurdish-Turkish-Persian) there are typical rhythms especially in wedding ceremonies and Newroz.

Newroz is an ancient Mithraism celebration and Armenian/Kurdish people were followers of Mithraism, and Persian too but Persian were more inclined to praise Anahita. The ancestors of the Turks came to the region in the sixth century AD and did not get time to be the followers of Mithraism because Islam came and changed the history.

Armenians and Kurds in those days were Christian-Mithraic and Jewish, Zoroastrian, Mandaean, Manichaean and Mazdakian. The ancestors of the Persians were Zoroastrians.

Turks ancestors had their religion but Muslim leaders recruited them into their army because the Kurds, Armenians and Persians opposed the domination of the Arab Muslims. These political adventures led to an ethnic transformation in Armenia-Kurdistan.

Turks also became part of the region's culture, and millions of Armenians, Kurds and Turks now live in the Caucasus / Zagros / Anatolia.

In many cases, the boundaries between the cultures of these nations disappear because these cultures are intertwined. Saro's video contains an original Armenian rhythm, but I also remembered Kurdistan and Azerbaijan. OH! Who can say where is the borders?

Thank you Saro jan... I wish you the best beside your respectful family. God Bless you.

I play the Oboe as well as the Armenian folk national wind instruments, duduk, zurna, shvi, etc.

I started playing national instruments at the age of 7-8.

4- Who was your motivator?

There were five brothers in the family, almost all of them brothers, who were older than me, played folk instruments, mainly on a brass level, of course on an amateur level, and that love for music was passed on from my family.

I was 19 years old when the Great Composer Edgar Hovhannisyan invited me to the Tatul Altunyan State Song and Dance Ensemble, where I played duduk, shvi, zurna, oboe, etc. It was 1970.

I am always ready to pass on my skills and experience to future generations, regardless of their ethnicity, whether they are Armenians or foreigners, it does not matter to me.

10- How can you help our world become a better place to live?

Planet Earth belongs to all of us 🙏 and we all owe it to ourselves to respect one another regardless of religion or creed, Unfortunately, there are countries that have had and continue to have BULLETIN programs for centuries.
The first place in the list of those countries is occupied by Turkey, this is a great misfortune, first of all, for the neighboring countries, with whom AGGRESSOR Turkey has many problems and old and new unresolved problems,
It is high time for this reality to be appreciated by the world community and this will be a lesson for other similar countries.

11- Have you more word to say or suggest for our readers?

I have been living and working in Argentina with my family for 26 years, playing in one of the best symphony orchestras in Argentina (oboe).

DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS LOVE EACH OTHER, I AM SURE THAT LOVE AND MUSIC WILL SAVE US FROM ALL EVIL ❤️.
