I will be glad if I will be able to influence a younger generation’s involvement in culture in my country by organizing some platform or contribute to music education there, as well as presenting classical music to a broader audience there.

Interview

Austrian/Latvian Pianist Anton Rosputko

By Azad Karimi

I will write down later about Austria and Salzburg ,Bavaria ,Vienna and Strauss and other beautiful sides of Austria or Østerrike according to Norwegian language but I want to say something and short about Latvia.

I remember 1987-1991 years and we were hearing about Baltic Countries. They were three countries between Finland and Poland and one part of Soviet.

I had learned their names: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

That times Iranian Media was telling everything about three sisters of Baltic area because Iranian religious leader Khomeini was alive and everything  had been described accord by his existence and he was against Soviet and China plus the United States ,United Kingdom, Israel, King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Sddam Huseien, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Sudan, France and...

My Lord! I feel nostalgia. It was fantastic that government media affiliated with the Iranian regime were covering freely of developments in the Soviet Union and the Baltic states but not now for example about Belarus and Venezuela. I don’t know because my Iranian side says: I don’t know and I’m comfortable! Nice...

But my European side tell me: you know! And you can not fool yourself! So say what you know!

Oh God! I’m release now! Yes! I know why: The silence of the state media in Iran is due to the close and complex relationship between Russia and Iran.

I can’t say more because I’m polite and according to my background and middle easternian education, I have right to say: Hello!, I’m always fantastic, I brush my teeth, I don’t smoke, I don’t drink red wine, I am a fourty six-year-old single and chaste man, and I understand what I say and as Aziz Nesin says, I endure everything just to show that I am a polite person.Who is Aziz Nesin? Later!

I wish my dear Anton Rospukto a long life with success and progress in live and work and art.

Thank you

1.Please present yourself : ( Name, education, Civil status and...)

.Anton Rosputko, graduated from Mozarteum University of Salzburg, the civil status is: single.

2.What is your artistic specialize?

A pianist and a piano teacher.

3.When and how did you become interested in this field of art?

.Since the early childhood, but particularly around the age of 8.

4.Who was your motivator?

.First of all my mother, a musician.

5.What was your parent’s reaction?

.My parents were positive and supporting.

6.When started you such as a professional artist-musician?

.Public performances have happened since my childhood, however the first paid (and therefore professional) full solo-recital happened in 2015.

7.Are you thankful and happy because of your activities as a musician?

.Absolutely, though I still have to collect experience, like every young musician.

8.How you see the view? Music , Orchestration, art and culture?

.Regarding the future of music, I think that, despite a bigger and bigger simplification of mainstream radio music, the classical music constantly keeps its smaller but stable amount of audience, so I don’t worry about that. The same goes with visual arts (where we have pop-art or comics as the mainstream) and culture in general. The true masterpieces survive through the time.

9.Can you become one part of the cultural movement for motivation in youth or new generation in your country and so than?

.I will be glad if I will be able to influence a younger generation’s involvement in culture in my country by organizing some platform or contribute to music education there, as well as presenting classical music to a broader audience there. However, I hope I still have to gain more contacts and career achievements which would faciliate this task for me.

10.How can you help our world become a better place to live?

.I guess the best I can do as a representative of culture is to make it reach as many people as possible. I strongly believe the politics, the communication, the economical activities can get more pure morally, if you excuse my naive language, if the cultural level and therefore the ability for compassion and to value the beauty of the world and the human will be more present. Saying more briefly, the more the culture is present in people, the better everything else works.

11.Have you more word to say or suggest for our readers?

I wouldn’t dare to lecture anybody, but from my side of a musician I would recommend everybody not always to follow all the mainstream tendencies and stereotypes and remember that there is no bad or good music genre, but there are bad or good composers and performers. If anybody considers the classical music boring, they either have never actually listened to it, or they have listened to bad pieces or performers. So I would recommend everybody to have an open and curious mind in this sense.
