One day, few months ago we called by phone together. He showed me his new projects. I was lucky because I was a rare person that he was showing his secrets! LoL!

1- Please present yourself: Name, education, Civil status and...
. I’m Silviu-Cornel IANCU known as Sil Yanku. I’m 45 years old and I’m Swiss, now living in Germany. I studied touristic management at the Belvoirpark in Zurich, Switzerland.
2-What is your artistic speciality?
.My artistic speciality is music. I’m music producer (composer, songwriter and singer) but also doing some other things like comedian and actor.
3- When and how did you become interested in this field of art?
.I recorded my first professional song 20 years ago produced by Costi Ionita, a Romanian music producer. but I always used to sing since my childhood. I always felt alive by singing. Somehow I felt like nobody can write the real song for me so I began to learn by myself how to produced music so I recorded my first own written and composed song in 2004. Since then I produce my music by myself.
4- Who was your motivator?
. My motivator was my mother; she always believed in me and told me that I should become a musician.
5- What was your parent’s reaction?
. As I already told you, my mother supported me as an artist but my father thought music wasn’t the right thing for my future until I made it in Romania. In 2006 I had a number 1 hit on the Radio-Charts in Romania. At that time my artist name was IN-VERSO. Just few months later I had a number one hit on the radio “Radio Top” in Switzerland. After this I signed a record deal with an Italian label (CNI Music)and I changed my artist name into SIL YANKU which is a combination from my real name. The first single was released under the license of Universal Music France.
6- When did you become such a professional artist-actor?
. I’m acting as musician since 2000 and as actor since last year.
I am now negotiating with 2 theatres from Zurich for my own Shows. More about this project I will tell you after everything will be done.
7- Are you thankful and happy because of your activities as a Theatre-TV-Cinema actor?
. I am very thankful and happy because of my activity as an actor. So I can make what really love to do. This is my life!
8- How do you see the view about art, culture, theatre, dramatic performing?
. Well, we are living in a hard time. The world has changed and in my opinion people have enough of war, hate, and so on. People need to be entertained. I think a lot of people discover art during the lockdown of the Corona-Virus.
9- Can you become one part of the cultural movement for motivation in youth or new generations in your country and so on?
. I think I can be a part of the cultural movement. Thank to my international background, I’m making music in several languages and several styles. In my opinion is this the best gift and influence what I can give to the people in this world. My music has love messages, no hate nor violence. We need to love each other.
10- How can you help our world become a better place to live?
. Trough my creation. As I’ve just told you before, my message to the world is loving each other. Now is the time for Art and love. We need to love and understand each other, no matter where we come from. Culture and art is our common thing. We need to appreciate this.
11- Have you more words to say or suggest for our readers?
. Love is all we need... this is all what I can say.
