I started professionally in 2015 playing classical repertoire, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, etc. Now I plan to expand that repertoire with my compositions. I feel like that's where I can perform much better, in a more personal way.

Interview

Argentinian Pianist Bruno Traversaro

By Azad Karimi

A writer from my country says: sometimes in the afternoons a face looks at us from the bottom of a mirror; art must be like that mirror that reveals our own face to us...

A beautiful sentence from Bruno. This means committed art. Art that makes man think and reason and motivates the man to create, change and transform in himself.

Based on the change in human beings, he can affect his surroundings and living environment and cause change. The clearer and clearer this mirror is, the more detail it shows us. This means more honesty in art and artwork.

This is the mission of art. The basis of life and creation is evolution. Transformation means avoiding ignorance as much as possible. The source of all the misery of human beings and societies is ignorance.

I will not go into this because it has little to do with this interview, so I would like to invite you to read the text of the interview.

I wish success and happiness to my dear friend Bruno.

Thank you!

2-What is your artistic specialize?

.I specialize in piano, classic repertorie and I am currently composing and I have just released my first CD “impensadas” containing 8 pieces for piano. Available on youtube and Spotify.

3- When and how did you become interested in this field of art?

. In my parents' house, there was always a piano. My mother is a pianist and I became interested in having the instrument at home. One day I opened it and started playing. Improvising and then studying the musical language.

4- Who was your motivator?
.My motivation was the sound, the music itself. My first teacher was also important, Paula, who motivated me to dedicate time and dedication to her.

5- What was your parent’s reaction?

.His reaction was excellent. They always supported me to study music. I'm thankful.

6- When started you such as professional musician and pianist?

7- Are you thankful and happy because of your activities as musician and pianist?
.Yes, since I started with the concerts I am very happy. I learned a lot, to prepare to play, to study, to make this a job, a profession. Unfortunately now there are many restrictions due to Covid but we hope to return to the ring soon.

8- What is music culture? What is music logic?

Music culture can be many things. First is the great variety of rhythms and musical forms that there are. It is what the culture of each region does with its sounds. Secondly, it can refer to having knowledge about music and not only about authors, but about musical language, instruments, ability to interpret, and passion for music. Everyone's musical culture is shaped by our life experiences. As for the musical logic, I can think of the forms, the development of the melodies. Sometimes you say that something makes sense when we can decipher its parts, its components. I guess that answers your question. Music is made up of small fragments that generally make up the song. What we hear is the perfect union of different sounds and rhythms, which fit together to give us logic. I also think that there is music without logic, improvisation for example, which is something I love, it can break that logic.

9- Why does some melody become immortal?

.A melody becomes immortal when it overcomes the passage of years, cultures, ideas and sounds. There are melodies that cannot be explained in words, they are felt. This is one of the reasons why the vast majority like music or why certain melodies survive the passing of any phenomenon, you are part of the collective unconscious.

10- How you see the Music, art and culture in your perspective? I mean your prediction for the future of music!

.Always betting on the future, they are our next compositions, our next concerts. I love that there are so many styles, so many musical proposals, but I think more opportunities are needed for new artists, both in the media and in the concert halls.

11- Can you become one part of the cultural movement for motivation in youth or new generation in your country and so than?

.It is important to motivate and cultivate art among ourselves, it is there where one can find oneself. How does a writer from my country say, sometimes in the afternoons a face looks at us from the bottom of a mirror; art must be like that mirror that reveals our own face to us.

12- How can you help our world become a better place to live?

.Be happy and live intensely without harming others. The only way to improve this world is together, although we know the desire of the powerful to obtain wealth at the expense of the efforts of others. Don't be powerful.

13- Have you more word to say or suggest for our readers?

.I send you a hug and I invite you to listen to my compositions as well as see my videos on my channel.
