Interview

American Professional Life Coach Étienne Lartigau

By Azad Karimi

If “you don’t make time for your wellness, you’ll be forced to make time for your illness.“- Unknown... (from Étienne)

Someone has said this simple and clever sentence that he is a very wise person because I have received heavy blows from diseases due to these negligences that have pushed me to the abyss of hopelessness, but a stronger force than death and Illness has saved me. But I believe that this advice affected me a lot and changed my view of illness and health and life.

What you read in this interview is new to me, the subject of positive and negative energies and the justification of their existence in our lives as human beings.

Please read this interview carefully, because the good and positive effects of Étienne's writings on you can make a good difference in you, as long as you believe it.Of course, if I lived in Florida, I would go to his company to boost my inner good energies and learn more about ways to control my inner negative energies.

I think I will not write anything further and I invite you to pay attention to the text of the interview.

I wish success and happiness to my dear friend Étienne.

Thank you!

  1. Please present yourself (Name, education, Civil status and...)

.My name is Etienne Lartigau. I am a Certified Professional Life Coach. I focus on Wellness and Success Coaching. I now live in Key Biscayne, Florida.

  1. What do you specialize on?

.I am a Professional Life Coach. My company is called Proficiency Coaching and we focus on Core Energy Coaching. Core energy is based on the premise that all people are always experiencing energy, in one of two ways either Catabolic, which is negative energy, or Anabolic, which is positive energy.  We try to work with people to experience anabolic (positive) energy.

  1. When and how did you become interested in this field of work?

. I have always been interested in connecting with people on a deeper level. I’m not all that good at making small talk, so coaching gives me the luxury of connecting with people on a more meaningful level - which is very fulfilling for me.

4- Who was your motivator?

. My friends have all been encouraging me in this direction, but it was not until my therapist saw the intuition and sensitivity in me, that I truly began to focus on coaching as a full-time profession. I will always be grateful to him for guiding me in this direction, as I find being a coach incredibly fulfilling.

5- What was your parents’ reaction?

.I am very grateful that my parents just want me to be happy. They are of the mindset that as long as I am doing what I love and I am successful - they are happy and proud.

6- When did you start professionally as Proficiency Coaching?

.Though the profession of Life Coaching is fairly new to me, it has always been a passion of mine to help people.  I absolutely love it -  and I am good at it (so I am told), so it feels like I’ve been doing it since the day I was born. Seeing my clients succeed and having so many positive realizations is a constant validation that I am doing what I am meant to do.

7- Are you thankful and happy because of your activities as Proficiency Coaching?

. Yes! Every minute of it. I am also grateful for my family who is extremely supportive. I would not be able to do this without them.

8-Please explain to our readers about:

I- The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) :

. This is fun! This is who I am as a coach!   I. The Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching is the Certified Professional Coach Training Program where I became I Life Professional Coach! They have been an ICF-Accredited Coach Training Program since 2002.

II- Certified Professional Coach (CPC)

. The CPC program consists of ICF-approved coach-training hours and mentorships with an ICF-certified trainer. The program is delivered in an intensive training format. The International Coach Federation (ICF) is the coaching industry’s governing body and sets standards, core competencies, and a code of ethics for coaching and coach training schools alike.

III-Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP)

. The fact that I am an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner means that I am certified to provide the ELI Energy Assessment.   The ELI provides insights into how we show up in various aspects of our life. It measures our ability to lead people, including ourselves, to take positive, productive, and sustainable action. The assessment also measures how involved or engaged we are in our roles and tasks on the job and at home. Finally, it measures our potential leadership ability by our level of consciousness - our awareness about who we are and what life is about. Studies prove that higher levels of consciousness are associated with higher levels of success in life, including success in finances, relationships, personal development, achievement, and more.

9- How do you see you the perspective of your work?

.I think that nowadays we all need a good coach. People get so confused with their own emotions that they do not clearly see what’s in front of them.  Coaching helps them with finding clarity to avoid making choices that we may regret down the road. We are close to the end of a very difficult year for most of us. The new year comes with a lot of hopes and possibilities. Coaching can help us maximize our potential to catch up with either our old projects or new ones to come.

10- Can you become one part of the cultural movement for motivation in youth or new generation in your country?

.That’s my goal! Motivation is my motto. I want people to see their potential and strength! On my website and social media, I keep adding articles to create awareness of the possibilities for change, from inner wisdom to renewal energy.

11- How can you help our world to become a better place for living?

.My goal as a coach is to raise the awareness and consciousness of my clients. One at a time.  I also deeply care about the environment and the future of our children (as I have a 9-month-old daughter).  This is why at Proficiency Coaching we are carbon-neutral, we do not consume livestock products of any kind, we only use renewable energy as well as the most innovative products from recycled materials. I think we lead with example.

12- Do you have more word to say or suggest for our readers?

.If “you don’t make time for your wellness, you’ll be forced to make time for your illness.“- Unknown.
