I guess by telling stories with the same respect and understanding the person feeling political or religious view no matter what my personal opinion maybe is a way to make the world a more respectable way.

Interview

Norwegian Cameraman-Photographer Remi Sagen

By Azad Karimi

I know Remi closely, he is one of my dear friends. I have known him since I was sent on an internship by the Norwegian school to the Norwegian National Television(NRK) in the Ålesund.

There he was a photographer and videographer. He has a great personality. He is a human being with great human feelings and without arrogance.

We went to Vestre once to prepare a report, a small but industrial city. Along the way, Remi tried to explain to me the surrounding scenery and the names of famous mountains and their legends. The trip was very interesting and we took several pictures of the scenery.

One day while compiling a report, we talked about the war, migration, and humanitarian crises in the Middle East ... We also talked about the problems of immigrants living in their new countries.

He was familiar with the cultural contradictions that arise between generations of immigrants in the new environment. That is, he knew that the children of people who immigrated to Europe would have serious problems with their parents. Because they have a double life. One life is at home and with family and the other life is living in school and community.

Creating a balance is difficult for these children and adolescents ... Usually, families try to keep their children in the cultural circle of the family by using cultural and religious elements, but outside the home, there is a community that creates a lot of pressure. There is a strong culture against this family endeavor. . In many cases, ethnic groups immigrants in European or American countries live in their own ghettos and neighborhoods, largely creating a parallel community.

It seems that changing the way of life due to living in environments other than ghettos due to work, university, etc. have facilitated cultural and ethnic integration in societies. But this does not mean the complete destruction of the ethnic-cultural culture of the immigrant people in their new countries.

However, this type of issue is one of the characteristics of modernity, the complexity of which causes dramatic changes in the way of life of man as a social unit but these changes cause social changes in different lands. What Remi and I talked about one day is one of the effects and problems of these social changes.

In the end, I invite you, dear reader, to pay attention to the text of the interview. I wish success and happiness to my dear Remi.

Thank you!
