For me being an artist is opening a window on people’s mind. Artists are here to entertain, ask questions. Make people dream, challenging them, disturbing them, shaking them, make people emotional about life meaning.

Frantz Morel A L’Huissier

By Azad Karimi

For me being an artist is opening a window on people’s mind...

Frantz Morel says...and what a beautiful description about his artistic work.

He is a Theatre teacher. For being a teacher needs too much experience, practical experiences because theatre is a performance art and both director and actor-actress are showing their skills in a theatre performing.

Yes, all of elements for a perfect dramatic performing in theatre one by one are important and basic, but General and special audiences and critics are waiting for the end of the performance to see what is meant by this show, Regardless of the criteria by which each of these three groups of spectators measure and judge the theatrical work. Therefore, the job of a theatre teacher is very heavy and difficult, and one should have the most experience in this field. This is where the value of people like Franz becomes clear.

Frantz Morel mentioned Jean Gabin and Annie Cordy, of course, I liked Jean Gabin as a teenager but I should say that Annie Cordy passed away two days ago, on September 4th. Happy Soul!

I wish my dear friend Frantz Morel all the best and more success. He is a great man. I say always, artist is a heavenly gift.

Thank you!

.I always wanted to be an actor but most of all I loved traditional music hall actors such as Jean Gabin, Annie Cordy. Maurice Chevalier, Bovril (French stars of the 50´s to 70´s) because music hall leans to everything: singing, acting, dancing, tap dancing, clown...

I was mesmerized by “singing in the rain” when I was a child and this is the movie that made me want to be an actor. I started young at 10 as I was part of a musical I’m Paris as a child actor and it was my very first experience and i embraced it instantly. Then I studied theatre in my teenage years then in my twenties in a professional school when there were a lot of foreign teachers (Poland, Uruguay, England and of course France).

I’m a professional since twenty years now I’m 48. And this is one of a kind luxury I ALWAYS dreamed of: be able to earn a living from my passion. I became a stage director like 15 years ago starting as amateur teacher then professional. I stage classic and contemporary theatre. Look at my website.
