Many of us probably do not know the difference between astronomy and astrology. Astrology is an ancient science that medieval people believed was known as witchcraft and alchemy. This science dealt with the effect of the relationship between the planets and the stars on each other and their effect on the earth-Human. This science was very complex and ordinary people could not learn it because it was the prerogative of a certain class of scientists. This science developed in Mesopotamia (north and south), Egypt, Latin America, India and China.
It was originally a religion but was rejected by the synagogue and the church in the early centuries AD and was considered blasphemy and atheism.
Physical relationships, mathematical and geometric equations, astronomy observations, and predictions of future events have always been debated.
Muslims emerged in the seventh century and dealt with astrology more severely. In their culture, there was only one God who is Currently and present and oversees human actions, and does not share the secrets of his power with anyone. For this reason, the Prophet of the Muslims did not know anything about the quality of the soul and considered it to be the knowledge of God.
People are now less strict with astrology and know that as entertainment but this science has many fans in the world. If you look closely at the text of Laurent's interview, you will come to some interesting points about his views on astrology, astronomy, anthropology, and the potential of this interesting phenomenon(Human being)... of course, he has interesting insights into eroticism. .I’m Laurent Gizzi, « Lau ». I’m Married with my companion since 4years but i’m with him since 20 years.
2-What is your artistic speciality?
. I’m lucky to be able to draw with anything that makes a line! Now, I prefer digital paint, because it has a lot of possibilities but I love sketching and drawing with pencil and paint. My new passion is now the Bodypaint: a painting on my body’s models. For the subject of my drawing and painting is the fantasy, the fantastic, of course, astrology and symbolicism…but always with erotic, espacially homo-erotic patern…i love draw and recreate masculine body, with muscles, veins, volumes, hairs…
3- When and how did you become interested in this field?
.Since ever !! I draw since i have a pencil in my hands !
4- Who was your motivator?
5- What was your parent’s reaction?
.My mom! She was drawing with me, she had a little talent for drawing and I think I was fascinated…but it’s not the case of my father who wanted that I gave up drawing, astrology…all my passion…but my father wasn’t a good person. Sadly, my family was very formative and doesn’t believe in art for a career…so I wasn’t encouraged and it’s only now, at more than 40 years old to show my little talent.
6- When did you become such a professional Astrologist?
.I think 7 years…i start to study astrology when i was 14 years old, i analysed my first natal chart at 16 years old.
7- Are you thankful and happy because of your activities as an Astrologist?
. Of course, I am! It’s a real pleasure to practice astrology! I love the moment of my clients understood their own psychologic functioning. I also love teaching astrology, is probably my favorite activity!
8- How do you see the view about art, culture, Astrology?
. I think that art is very depreciated especially plastic art, illustration… it's seen as a minor activity, as a child activity. The great artist isn’t famous as a singer, a musician or a sporter for example. Illustrator, painter, drawer…are always in the shadows and it’s very hard to live with our art. For astrology…it’s a real disaster !! It’s considered as quackery, fake science..scam sometimes. While it’s probably the greatest science of personality…
9-What is Astrology, What is Astronomy? What is connecting between them?
. Astrology study the report of the celestial body’s cycle with comportement or psychology. Sadly, astrology isn’t recognized as a real science…it’s classified among esoteric activities (i do not agree with that, for me, astrology is a universal and natural fact that can be learned as every science). Astronomy is real science, it’s studying the physics of celestial body, space… Astronomy describes the planet, the star, space. Astrology analyses the personality, evolution of humans (or anything on Earth) with a position of the planet. Astronomy is essential to astrology for the meaning of the planet, and to know the new planets, celestial body, their movement…
10- How impact Astrology on our life? What is Astrologists’ role?
. Astrology is my life! LoL!, But I tried to not analyzed everything and everybody with it! Astrology’s goal is to allow people to evaluate and became better and full field.
11- Can you become one part of the cultural movement for motivation in youth or new generations in your country and so on?
.I’m so wishing that !!! More seriously, astrology is most popular in the young generation… I hope that I will be really good at astrology and not fake astrology. For my artist part, I hope that I could take part in a «re-eroticization» of minds! I think that our time is too prude, sex and erotism are confused with violence, no respect…or, in fact, erotism is a very good thing and participates to happiness and good living.
12- How can you help our world become a better place to live?
. I hope that helps people to know their weakness and potential with astrology could making better people and better people making better world…
13- Have you more words to say or suggest for our readers?
.Be yourself, be proud to be yourself, and accept that others are different, and love it!
